For our honeymoon we went to Mauritius and I’ve documented it in my wedding project life album. It seemed fitting to keep all the photos together in one album.

It has taken my nearly 5 months to finish my honeymoon album. I think part of it was writing out everything in pencil and then needing to go over it in pen. I just couldn’t be bothered. I finally finished it but lesson learned for next time, just go in straight away with pen and forget any mistakes. Who cares, really?

I’ve used various kits of journalling cards for this section of the album as I didn’t want it to look all the same.

To be honest I struggled to journal much for the honeymoon because days were spent reading, swimming, sunbathing and eating four meals a day. I felt really guilty when I got home about that, but oh my goodness the food was too good not to eat!

We had such a wonderful honeymoon and just what we needed to get away and relax together.
