I’m not a beauty blogger but I find myself wearing more lipsticks in the winter and I wanted to share my favourites. Last year I thought I’d become obsessed with lipsticks, balms and glosses as I kept buying every new one that came out. Now I’m trying to cut back and keep only the ones that I reach for regularly. I like purple lips in the winter but also feel like a bright pink helps me feel better if I’m having a crappy grey day.

From left to right: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 020 Lovesick Passionnee, Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in 225 Berry Alure, Avon ColorTrend lipstick in plum fun, MUA lipstick in shade 2, Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 005 Crush Beguin and finally Clinique chubby stick in 01 richer raisin.

I love that the Revlon stains last forever during the day – well a few hours while drinking and eating. My favourite of all of them is the MUA lipstick as it’s an amazing colour and only cost £1. I’ve found some of their formulas a bit hit and miss, but this one slides on and doesn’t show up my dry lips in the winter.
